Every year, Giving Tuesday inspires generosity around the world—and this year, hundreds of donors rallied behind athletics and activities programs through Snap! Raise. In just 36 hours, programs across the country ran Snap! Raise fundraisers designed to jump-start opportunities for participants. The results were powerful, heartfelt, and a reminder of what communities can accomplish when they come together.
A 36-Hour Push With a Big Purpose
Snap! Raise fundraisers typically run for 28 days, but for Giving Tuesday, groups condensed their campaigns into an energized, high-momentum, 36-hour format. Coaches and group leaders embraced the challenge, using the short timeline to build excitement and inspire support.
And it worked.
With Snap! Raise’s automated outreach to donors, programs raised funds without any extra work on the part of group leaders or participants. Donors loved the chance to make a quick, meaningful impact with immediate visibility into what their contribution supported.
Real Support for Real Student Needs
Behind every fundraiser was a story: a team preparing for championship travel, a music program replacing aging instruments, a club striving to make opportunities more accessible for its members. The 36-hour format didn’t just raise money—it brought these stories to life.
Across the country, funds raised on Giving Tuesday are already being put to work:
- Boerne Champion Speech & Debate advisor Ken shared that the funds they raised will pay for an upcoming tournament they’re competing in.
- Coach Jennifer from Tecumseh Tennis Booster Club says their funds will allow them to order gear before the season starts.
These campaigns weren’t just about dollars—they were about leveling the playing field so every student can dream bigger.
The Power of Community During the Holiday Season
The holidays bring people together, and this year, Giving Tuesday proved how strong school and club communities truly are. Parents, alumni, friends, and extended families rallied behind causes that matter—supporting kids, creating opportunities, and investing in their extracurricular activities. That community spirit is the heart of Giving Tuesday, and Snap! Raise was proud to provide the platform that helped it shine.
A Simple, Effective Path to Impact
With such a short campaign window, Snap! Raise made it easy and effective for programs to participate using automated emails to previous supporters, special social media graphics for group leaders, and secure online giving. Instead of organizing events or collecting cash, leaders could focus entirely on motivating their teams, sharing their story, and watching their progress climb.
“It was easy to do, I loved the templates [Snap! Raise] provided! We got the message out to everyone by using those,” said speech & debate advisor Ken. Some programs did their own outreach to spread the word. “In order to promote this fundraiser to our community, we sent out multiple emails to both students and parents. We also used the school platform to communicate the links and allow players to share the fundraising efforts with their family and friends. We also used social media to share the links,” explained Coach Jennifer from Tecumseh Tennis. The simplicity of Snap! Raise paired with the urgency of Giving Tuesday created the perfect moment for donors to step in and uplift participants.
Looking Ahead
This Giving Tuesday showed what schools can accomplish in just 36 hours. As programs continue to navigate rising costs and limited school budgets, community-driven fundraising remains essential, and platforms like Snap! Raise help make that support sustainable, accessible, and impactful.
To every coach, director, volunteer, donor, and student who made this year’s Giving Tuesday a success: thank you. Your generosity didn’t just raise money—it created brighter possibilities for young people everywhere.
