When Steve Lucas, former athletic director at Plano High School, received 28 emails from another school’s scheduling system, he couldn’t tell which ones needed his attention. He wasn’t sure the AD who sent them knew either.
“I did send out a text message to the conference, to that AD, and just said, ‘28 emails, really?’” he recalled. “We all got a kick out of it.”
Watch the video to hear directly from Steve about how he manages administrative tasks with Snap! Mobile One and why the partnership matters.
The experience highlighted what he values about Snap! Mobile One: fewer steps to get contracts created, sent, and signed.
From the schedule, he creates an event, adds details like the sport, opponent, time, and location, then downloads or emails the contract. Electronic signatures help close the loop without extra back-and-forth.
“And like I said, it’s pretty much one, two, three.”
He estimates that the work behind those 28 emails would have taken just three or four contracts and emails using the management tool in Snap! Mobile One.
“Super efficient, love it. I wouldn’t change it ever.”
But the relationship matters as much as the process. He says the team stays in touch, listens, and understands what athletic directors need to make their jobs more efficient and a little less stressful.
“We’re grateful for those partnerships and like I said, they’re colleagues to me. They just don’t always work under the Plano High School roof.”
